The Series EL has no application limitations because it's a seamless transfer to backup power. This is essential since HID and High Pressure Sodium lighting take 10 to 15 minutes to restart with just one cycle of electrical power interruption.

Regulation and Surge Protection
The series EL Inverter from Controlled Power Company goes beyond battery backup. It extends the life of the lighting system by regulating the output voltage and providing some of the highest surge protection in the industry.

Efficiency and Harmonics
Looking for efficiency? Of course; we all are! New lighting circuits use electronic ballast that save energy but introduce unwanted harmonic currents. Harmonics are no longer a concern; the Series EL from Controlled Power Company attenuates the harmonics exceeding IEC 555 standards.

Simple Maintenance
Each battery pack is independent of the inverter; connecting quickly with an Anderson Connector. Because only high-grade maintenance free batteries are used; the Series EL Inverters can be installed anywhere. Backup times are conservatively rated for 90 minutes at full load, with optional run times available up to 72 hours.

Although major components of the Series EL have 100,000 hour MTBF, all series EL Inverters come standard with a Maintenance Wrap-Around Bypass Switch for those moments of maintenance and repair.
